Chelsea Rotarian Juan Gallego and his crew of volunteer plumbers traveled to Texas to help homeowners
affected by the Texas winter storm.   Now those homeowners have water and do not have to depend on
bottled water or water carried into the house from buckets from their neighbors or relatives.

We are so grateful to Chelsea Rotarian Juan Gallego and his crew of plumbers coming to Texas to help so many homeowners affected by the Texas winter storm. They did an AWESOME job helping seventeen homeowners affected by the winter damage and one Hurricane Harvey home! That was quite an accomplishment considering most of the homeowners needed their pipes, completely re-piped. Now those homeowners have water and do not have to depend on bottled water or water carried into the house from buckets from their neighbors or relatives. I myself had no water for just over a week at my house back in North Texas and it's not fun. These homeowners have had no water since February 14th and unfortunately we still have homeowners without water in the Houston area.

I can tell you that this work was very hard too as they had to crawl in very tight spaces underneath the houses and mobile homes and also in the attic (that was not made to walk in). From day one, they started working that afternoon and continued working long days, every day. The crew as well as being skilled, were very passionate too in helping our homeowners in the Houston area.

Leaving your families for 10 days to go help others that you don't even know, is super generous and we at Fuller Center cannot thank them enough for all their hard work. Juan also contributed many supplies and materials which in itself was a blessing as we are so low in the state of Texas.

Blessings,
Kate
