The Chelsea Black Community (CBC) celebrates Black History Month with a month long series of events promoting black history in Chelsea.  As part of the celebration, the CBC recognizes several local residents and business persons as Chelsea Trailblazers for their commitment and service to our community.  The Trailblazer Award celebrates those individuals who identify and implement innovative changes that positively affect our community, individuals that have pushed their way through adversities while continuously supporting all members of our community and they are seen as a beacon of light for all those who want to follow in their footsteps. This year’s honorees include Chelsea Rotarian Susan Gallant.  The Chelsea City Council honored the 2020 CBC Trailblazers with resolutions at their February 10, 2020 meeting.
